Jay Layug Jr. is the current Assistant Secretariat of the UP School of Economics Alumni Association. He is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience across various sectors. His career includes roles at SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan (1996-2006) and Sullivan & Cromwell (2000-2002). He worked with Chevron Malampaya (2006-2010) and served as Undersecretary at the Department of Energy (2010-2012). Jay was a Senior Partner at Puno Law (2012-2022) and Chairman of the National Renewable Energy Board (2016-2018). Currently, he is a Senior Partner at Divina Law Offices (2023-present).
